General Summary

As a BDE, you will play a key role in presenting our MediSpend brand and solutions to the market. Specifically, you will lead the identification of new business opportunities at strategic accounts in your assigned territory to successfully achieve defined revenue and new customer acquisition objectives.

You will work closely with the marketing and product teams and play a key role using your entrepreneurial skills and relationship based selling approach to introduce new products to the life sciences market. You will rely on your keen sense of customer success to develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers at all levels in the organization.

In this critical role, you will work closely with the CEO, VP of Product Management, VP of Global Customer Operations and CKO to accelerate the movement of opportunities through the MMIS Selling Process. Essential Job Functions
  • Develop, qualify & close opportunities to meet annual sales quotas and customer targets
  • Work with Inside Sales Representatives (ISR) on shared prospects, clients and opportunities to develop account & territory level development plans and shared opportunities
    • Coordinate and move prospects from SFDC Stage 4 (Demo) in the MMIS selling process from ISR
    • Manage the MMIS selling process as needed to accelerate opportunities to close to meet quota goals
    • Follow the MMIS Sales Process
  • Work as an integral and dedicated team member with the marketing organization to move MQLs and SQLs through the MMIS Sales Process using both Inbound and Outbound marketing activities that may include but are not limited to the following:
    • Invite prospects to visit trade shows, webinars and meetings

A day in the life:

You will dive deep into query plans to determine why a particular query is not performing well. You advocate that HDFS or S3 is a better distributed data fabric based on the use case. A day in the life:

You are a Data Engineer at MediSpend.  You practice ETL and ELT.  You create data transformations to standardize three aggregate spend transaction files into a standard format.  You build innovative algorithms to detect duplicate healthcare providers.  You figure out that a particular file won’t load properly because there are missing delimiters.  You build custom crosswalks that transform client specific data to standardized formats.  You build a set of routines to create a set of denormalized data structures that will enhance analytic execution speeds.  You help build operational metrics to report on data quality and volumes.  You aid the product team to mine for client data inconsistencies.

What you bring to the table:

You’re a professional with a great blend of practical experience, education, and achievement.  You’re efficient at getting your points across in written and verbal mediums.  You are passionate about working with data.  Exposure to the healthcare data domain is a plus, but not required.

Significant experience with ETL/ELT tools and platforms is expected.  We’re a Java shop, so CloverETL, Pentaho, Talend experience helps.  If you’ve used modern data wrangling tools like Paxata, Tamr, or Trifacta, even better.  Spark experience is a plus.  You should be efficient with at least one programming language such as Java, Scala, or Python.  SQL skills are a given.  Knowledge of data storage systems which include traditional RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MariaDB), analytic data stores (Vertica, Greenplum, Redshift, Presto), and object stores (AWS S3, OpenStack Swift) helps also.

The DevOps Engineer I will be located in our Portsmouth, NH office and part of the team that is responsible for building, deploying, and operating MMIS infrastructure and applications. We are looking for someone to work in a fast-paced, evolving, and growing environment. The ideal candidate will work with developers and teammates in troubleshooting problems, identifying resolutions, and assessing situations in real time. Our team is empowered to keep our fast-paced, high volume processing environment operational for our clients.

Essential Job Functions
  • Maintain several systems using Chef and AWS OpsWorks
  • AWS experience with Elastic Beanstalk, OpsWorks, RDS, and various other services
  • Build, maintain, and use modern CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins (and/or GitLab)

General Summary

Reporting to the Sr. Implementation Manager,  the Implementation Associate will be located in our Portsmouth, NH office and be required to work closely with all members of the MMIS team. The Implementation Associate will be responsible for supporting the Operations team in implementing and maintaining the MediSpend Solution. This position will provide technical analysis, project documentation, and quality assurance to ensure adherence to client SLAs and project delivery commitments. Our goal is to provide an entry-level opportunity with room to grow into an Implementation Manager role.

The Implementation Manager is responsible for delivering solutions and building long-term client relationships.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management
  • Implement technical solutions by managing, leading, and performing hands-on configuration
  • Responsible for overall coordination and stability of technical software development, infrastructure, and implementation work efforts from initiation through delivery
  • Manage a team that designs, develops, implements and supports the MediSpend application suite

This role will utilize strong accounting knowledge, time management skills, and effective problem solving to ensure success.   • Accounts payable processing and analysis. Including invoice entry, obtaining invoice approvals and processing vendor payments
  • Manage corporate credit card program, including monitoring and reconciling transactions
  • Maintain employee expense report system, Expensify. Review and approve employee expense reports, ensuring we are holding employees to our approved company travel policy. Train new hires on Expensify and provide support to current employees and mangers as need be

As the QA Manager, you will provide guidance and strategic direction to the Quality Assurance Program across our commercial software products.   • Develop a Quality Assurance Program that is consistent across all products, and continuously increases the quality of our commercial software and quality of our SDLC processes:
    • Establish a QA test strategy that balances the creation of automated / manual testing with the desired investment in test driven development
    • Ensure that employees and technology partners have a solid understanding of the overall QA approach
    • Promote the QA program and its associated emphasis on system quality as a core value in the MediSpend culture
  • Design, manage and maintain all Quality Assurance practices, standards, and methodologies:
    • Define and enforce quality standards and processes across all types of tests (e.g. smoke, functional, nonfunctional, automated, performance/stress, regression, UAT)
    • Participate in both the new feature and defects intake processes to determine scope and velocity needed in order to deliver software on a timely basis

  • Design, manage and maintain a data-driven QA metrics program:
    • Clearly define the metrics, their targets/tolerances and their purpose in managing the success of the QA program
    • Establish metrics to determine release readiness, and overall quality / operability of the software
    • Regularly review the metrics with management and automate the self-service of viewing current and the historical trend of the QA metrics
    • Actively participate in the assessment of risk associated with each release
  • Manage a hybrid onshore/offshore Quality Assurance team:
    • Manage all functions of team including hiring, discipline, performance expectations, timekeeping activities, etc.
    • Develop resource strategies, allocating staff, tools and specialized support as necessary to ensure that all testing commitments are met
    • Ensure that each QA Analyst is performing at the level expected for their role

Competencies Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science or related field
  • 8+ years of direct work experience in Quality Assurance and at least 3 years in a Quality Management role
  • Industry certifications such as the CTFL or in-depth knowledge of QA principles
  • Experience managing and collaborating with offshore Quality Assurance teams
  • Experience creating and managing a testing roadmap that considers any dependencies and constraints including budget
  • Strong experience in analyzing test requirements and creating testing strategies or plans
  • Demonstrated experience in defining, documenting, and enforcing testing standards, analyzing test metrics, determining trends, and providing improvement recommendations

You assist the QA Manager to compile testing metrics for the last release. You investigate a new open source toolkit to advance the automation framework. You create some JSON content to validate a REST API call. You troubleshoot why the automated test suite did not finish as expected.

You have experience building scalable automated testing frameworks using tools like Selenium, Postman, TestNG. Familiarity with Jenkins a plus. Programming experience in Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar essential. Skilled at testing all levels of the product stack – user interface, business tier, and database. Proven ability to analyze complex business requirements and develop comprehensive test cases to validate those requirements. Effective estimation skills for test case development. Reporting to the VP of Product Management, the ideal candidate will be located in our Portsmouth, NH office. The Senior Technical Writer duties include management and creation of required customer-facing and internal documents. These documents could include user manuals, videos, blogs, FAQs, system operation and recovery instructions, project proposals, newsletters, presentations, and system design documents. Duties also include participation in software development life cycle; proof reading and editing of prepared documents; research, assimilation, interpretation, formatting and publishing of information on new tools (including Learning Management Systems), systems and materials; the ability to use ingenuity and creative thinking during the preparation of needed documents in an organized, consistent, professional manner; while remaining current in system development methodologies and while remaining compliant with regulations concerning the development of customer-facing and internal technical publications artifacts.

Essential Job Functions
  • Understand the software development lifecycle and contribute to finding ways to improve the development and deployment cycles of documentation
  • Thoroughly understand the technical solutions we build and the documentation content that introduce, explain and troubleshoot our software
  • Propose technologies / portal / infrastructure to share the online documents with our customers so that they are able to search and access the documents with ease
  • Propose the layout of documentation portal and how it should be organized for each of access
  • Understand the audiences for our documentation and be acutely aware of the important contribution technical documentation adds to a successful user experience
  • Spearhead the recommendation and implementation of Learning Management System for MediSpend content and MediSpend University
  • Work proactively in addressing your documentation workflows, deliverables and deadlines
  • Be a mentor to more junior members of the writing team
  • Contribute to multiple, high-profile documentation projects at the same time in a fast-paced, deadline-driven development environment, while maintaining a critical eye to detail and quality
  • Work with the program managers and developers to understand all products thoroughly, including features, functionality, and bug fixes
  • Communicate with team members face-to-face as well as with remote employees via phone and video conferencing
  • Be proactive and resourceful in finding answers to questions using the tools available, seek answers from the right people in the organization, and escalate potential roadblock issues early
  • Participate in special projects and lead initiatives in addition to core writing responsibilities as required
Competencies Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in technical communications, instructional design, computer science or related field of study
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in authoring configuration guides, release notes, commands reference guides, installation guides, and user guides. Know how to accurately estimate your work and how to create working outlines
  • User Manuals and On-line help experience
  • Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills
  • Ability to take complex concepts and translate them into plain English
  • Experience creating video scripts and managing video production with multimedia teams

A day in the life:

You are a Sr Web Application Engineer at MediSpend. You will interpret screen mockups and ideas and create web-based user interfaces. You will collaborate with product management and UX experts to provide a consistent look n’ feel across all applications. You might work on a quick POC to help clinch an important sales prospect. You might take a look at the latest JavaScript framework of the month. You have to upgrade the Bootstrap library to a newer version to remove a security flaw. You collaborate with other Sr. Java developers to define and refine REST API service definitions. You jump in to solve a client issue with one of the existing product modules.

What you bring to the table:

You’re a professional with a great blend of practical experience, education, and achievement. You’re efficient at getting your points across in written and verbal mediums. Agile and Scrum methodologies in a distributed environment are second nature. You have a track record of building modern web applications to enterprise scale customers.

Deep core JavaScript fundamentals and proficient with modern tooling (NPM, grunt, gulp, etc.). Significant experience with React/Redux or Angular JavaScript frameworks, HTML5, Bootstrap, and CSS. Practical experience using caching technologies like Memcached or Redis. Very familiar programming to REST API interfaces. Practitioner of responsive web design – browser focus more important than mobile focus. Security conscious design with a working knowledge of common best practices. Exposure to ORM libraries like Hibernate and practical knowledge of relational database access patterns is a plus. Passion for writing code which exhibits high quality and performance.
