General Summary

Reporting to the Director, Client Services, the Customer Success Manager will be part of the Customer Success team and will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers. The Customer Success Manager will understand customer outcomes through ongoing collection and analysis of data and feedback and turn this into onboarding and retention strategies as well as feed into the product road map. They’ll be involved in all aspects of support, account management, demonstrating the product, educating customers and more. What CSM’s Do
  • Own the MediSpend customer relationship, working in tight collaboration with MediSpend colleagues across the organization.
  • Are subject matter experts on compliance– sharing relevant insights and best practices around MediSpend and the industry.
  • Build and maintains strategic relationships with senior-level contacts (CCO, VP, Director, and Manager) as well as key users of MediSpend.
  • Think strategically about their book of business as a whole– designing account plans and then executing on those plans to increase platform adoption, helping drive retention/expansion, and fostering excellent customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Leverage internal tools to manage, track, and report on key customer information (e.g. health, contacts, initiatives, etc.)

General Summary

Reporting to the Product Manager, the Senior Business Analyst (BA) will have a diverse set of responsibilities and will be required to work closely with all members of the MMIS team. The ideal candidate will be intelligent, attentive to detail, flexible and comfortable working in a fast moving, entrepreneurial environment. The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for creating business requirements to support a product roadmap of releases, defects, enhancements across multiple products and interacting with customers.

The Senior Business Analyst will play a vital role in the software development life cycle by taking high-level business requirements and turning them into detailed, user stories for an Agile/Scrum-based development methodology. The Senior Business Analyst should have good understanding of compliance, commercial, and clinical processes for the Life Sciences industry.

Essential Job Functions
  • Work with customers and key stakeholders on requirements gathering and finalization related to user interface, feature enhancements, technical requirements/architecture including documentation of acceptance criteria for development purposes, for one or multiple products
  • Perform business, technical, and user requirement analysis and develop detailed requirements (business, user, process, performance, system requirements – functional and non-functional) and establish traceability to overall product roadmap / development priorities
  • Develop wireframes and mockups using commonly available tools such as Axure or similar tools
  • Create presentations for discussing product concepts or proposed features with internal and external stakeholders including customers
  • Partner with Product Managers to groom the product backlog and participate in release and sprint planning process and sessions
  • Present user stories to the development team during sprint planning and review meetings and drive development. Report development updates in a timely manner
  • Document test cases and be the point person for testing of new features and releases
  • Engage with Sales, Customer Success, and Implementation teams to establish and maintain knowledge base
  • Document release notes for the product and maintain the product management Confluence page for releases
  • Review product related incidents, analyze issues, identify their source and log defects as required
  • Deliver reports, dashboards, presentations and product metrics (as agreed upon by the product team)
  • Assist in setting up of user groups and customer advisory boards for gathering customer feedback
Competencies Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information technology or related field is required with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of working experience in roles that bridge business and technology including 5+ years in Agile software development environment for Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products
  • Strong UX design sense to clearly present wireframes and mock-ups for user interface discussion
  • Knowledge of Life Sciences industry and regulatory environment, experience with HCP/HCO arrangements a plus
  • Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
General Summary

The Senior Implementation Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery and installation of MediSpend products to its clients with hands-on implementation of technical solutions, from initiation through delivery. This position will schedule and coordinate key activities with internal departments, external vendors, and clients to ensure the solution implementation process is completed on time and in accordance with client requirements.

Essential Job Functions
  • Implement MediSpend platform(s) by managing, leading, and performing hands-on configuration
  • Develop and maintain project plans, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management. Ensure standard methodologies are applied
  • Develop and maintain project documentation templates/standard processes to streamline implementation process
  • Provide guidance and implementation expertise on how client business operations and/or decision-making framework can be improved through technology solutions
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
  • Design and execute cutover plans for complex customer processes involving multiple functions and/or systems
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of the use and impact of IT on client’s businesses and industries and identify potential risks or business opportunities
  • Critical liaison between the MMIS development team and clients ensuring all milestones and technical project requirements are achieved on schedule and surpassing client expectations
  • Facilitate client software enhancements throughout project lifecycle
  • Escalate software gaps, enhancement requests and bugs to the product manager and/or development team
  • Review modifications made by development team and perform QA and UAT
  • Coordinate overall testing, draw conclusions, and raise issues from testing results; Communicate with the project stakeholders
  • Develop and conduct client product training sessions/webinars. Facilitate client specific one-on-one remote and onsite training sessions
  • Support, as-needed, clients through the annual state, federal, and global government regulated reporting cycles, ensuring they report on time and accurately
  • Manage project teams to provide exceptional service to the customer by responding with a sense of urgency, practicality, accountability, integrity, and respect
  • Lead the timely resolution of any project related issues by leveraging the appropriate mix of resources; Coordinate and communicate activities with project stakeholders
  • Participate in components of sales presentation deliverable activities
  • Make well-informed decisions for the project that are in the best interest of the customer and MediSpend; Seek to develop mutually beneficial decisions
Competencies Required
  • 5 – 8 years’ experience in a SaaS or other high-tech environment
  • 5 – 8 years’ experience in project management and implementing software solutions
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience; MBA preferred. PMP certification a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in Confluence, JIRA, Zendesk and Smartsheet a plus

A day in the life:

You are a Sr. Java Engineer at MediSpend. You define the REST APIs for a new killer shared service, and then build the service itself. You work closely with the QA team to define the boundaries where unit tests stop and regression tests begin. You interview, onboard, and mentor junior developers. You present your case to leverage a new library to solve a specific business problem. You review merge requests from other developers. As the subject matter expert in certain areas, you advise others on best practices. You develop and present a lunch’n’learn topic exploring new design patterns.

What you bring to the table:

You’re a professional with a great blend of practical experience, education, and achievement. You’re efficient at getting your points across in written and verbal mediums. Agile and Scrum methodologies in a distributed environment are second nature.

Significant experience with the JVM ecosystem. Strong server-side programming skills with Java, Groovy, or Scala. Spring, Hibernate experience expected. Practical experience with Play, Akka, a plus. Familiarity with Angular or React JavaScript frameworks also a plus. Strong experience building applications with diverse storage architectures (RDBMSs, MPP DBs, NoSQL stores, document stores, distributed file systems (HDFS), object stores (AWS S3). Experience building and operationalizing analytic applications a plus. Good Linux skills needed to independently install and configure third party projects to support exploration. Basic AWS expertise expected.

You serve as a key contributor to the design and development of our data integration pipeline. You lead the development, implementations, optimizations of ETL workflows and transformations. You develop standards, procedures for ETL design and development. You are an excellent communicator – verbal and written. You help identify operational metrics to report on data quality and volumes.

Significant experience working, building functional data pipeline for heterogeneous data sources. SQL and data analysis skills, are a given. Hands on working knowledge of ETL tool like Clover is a plus. You use statistical methods to analyze client data.

You’ve been in the trenches enabling delivery of commercial applications requiring data accuracy.  You have contributed to the development of repeatable, modern data processing pipelines.
