General Summary

The Director of Sales – Global Strategic Accounts develops, maintains and expands relationships with strategically important large accounts and partners.   The Director of Sales is responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives. The Director of Sales represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company. The Director of Sales will introduce new products to market and ensure maximum market penetration and profitability across US and emerging markets OUS. The Director of Sales will work strategically in cooperation with the Vice President, Global Customer Operations to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction to ensure repeat business.

Reporting to the CCO, the Director of Sales will be responsible for all new business and renewal revenues. The role may expand to have direct reports in an account team model.

Essential Job Functions
  • Utilize a professional, relationship-based, consultative sales approach to build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Drive business development through a team-selling approach with tenacity and ambition to achieve target business objectives and revenue targets
  • Lead the development of the strategic account and partner sales
  • Execute on the business plan to secure new clients and retain existing clients while simultaneously building new business relationships such as strategic/channel partnerships
  • Work with sales team and channel partners to develop region specific customer lists and prioritize campaigns to meet regional sales objectives. KPI = # new customer targets added each month
  • Represent company at industry events facilitating lead generation and pull-through activities including thought leadership
  • Represent company in social and marketing campaigns and pull through using LinkedIn and other media sources to inform and grow market in alignment with planned marketing activities
  • Utilize and review detailed sales reports, using SalesForce.com, on a monthly and quarterly basis to measure success of sales efforts for territory including recommendations on improvements and best practices for future sales and marketing programs
  • Open and continuous communication between sales, marketing and executive team members to ensure success against company sales objectives
  • Work collaboratively with the Customer Success Managers to enhance existing client business opportunities and identify and grow new revenue streams
Competencies Required
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably within a technical or business field
  • Demonstrated expertise in Global Compliance business challenges and software solutions
  • 15+ years experience and demonstrated success in high growth revenue environments as a consistent performer in technology-centric sales, business development and marketing across broad national and international life science industries
Preparation, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills with strong organizational skills, solid work ethic and forward planning thought process
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, JIRA or other enterprise collaboration tools
  • Demonstrated use and understanding of Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and other social networks
  • Demonstrated and proven record of success within a fast paced, consultative sales environment
  • Track record and demonstrated experience in driving new customer acquisition through the full sales cycle, from cold-calling and digital lead generation through implementation and contract renewal
  • Proven record of success in business development, building client relationships and sales management with adequate leadership experience for a minimum of five (5) years
  • Experience with product and services including providing compliance solutions to Life Sciences manufacturers
  • Enthusiastic leader who cultivates relationships and is a successful individual performer as well as being able to lead via direct and indirect authority
  • Must have executive stature, project an executive presence, and be able to represent the Company effectively with major customers and external organizations
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75% travel required)
General Summary

Reporting directly to the VP Global Customer Operations the Implementation Associate will have a diverse set of responsibilities and be required to work closely with all members of the MMIS team. The Implementation Associate will be responsible for supporting the Operations team in implementing and maintaining the MediSpend Solution. This position will provide technical analysis, project documentation, and quality assurance to ensure adherence to client SLAs and project delivery commitments. Our goal is to provide an entry-level opportunity in our Portsmouth, NH office with room to grow into an Implementation Manager role.

Essential Job Functions
  • Assist Implementation Managers with analyzing business processes and data, configuring solution components, testing and deploying
  • Assist Support Manager by providing technical analytic reports and root cause analyses on support tickets
  • Establish and maintain documentation about assigned clients and their environments, system components, and source data
  • Prepare business requirements documents and configuration documents for new and legacy installations
  • Maintain Service Delivery templates and training resources
  • Provide QA support to application deployments and bug fix releases
  • Conduct analysis and write Change Orders for existing clients
  • Contribute to weekly leadership status reports on request
Competencies Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience managing projects and implementing software solutions
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Exceptional ability to participate as an individual contributor and team player with high attention to detail in a dynamic, fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using both Mac and Windows MS Office Suite platforms including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Mature, self-motivated, and professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to deal with critical customer situations in a professional and timely manner
  • Ability to identify and communicate project and support escalations
